BDSM Community – Mr. Porn Geek’s review
Ever wondered what it would be like to be a part of the BDSM crowd? Consider yourself to be a fan of kinky sex and want to talk about it? If so, then you might want to check out /r/BDSMCommunity. As the name suggests, this is a subreddit where people can come and chat with others about anything and everything – so long as the kinky factor is there! Note that this isn’t strictly a porn community, but I did want to review it anyway, as it’s quite large and has a lot of people visiting for various reasons and purposes. Anyhow – let’s get down to business and see what the deal is here on BDSM Community.
First thoughts on BDSM Community
So before I go reading the posts here, Mr. Porn Geek does want to approach this place a little more analytically to begin with. The age of this spot is pretty interesting: /r/BDSMCommunity was created way back in October of 2009 by an individual called Bondage Girl and has been active ever since. There are currently 150,000 followers here, meaning that this particular subreddit is one of the 250 most subscribed to (out of all those that deal with NSFW subjects). Let’s talk about submission rates now: just how active is the BDSM Community on Reddit? Sorting posts chronologically revealed that around 30 new entries are added here on a daily basis. Moderation seems reasonable too: I found no spam or other nonsense and all posts were on-topic and had some level of engagement from others. So far, so good for this subreddit.

What about the posts? Will you find much interesting discussion here and topics that you’ll find fun to read about? I’m going to do a little test of the highest rated submissions from the last month to determine this: you can follow the link and do the same if you so desire! Anyway, the posts that I came across included success stories of dudes collaring their submissives, kink definitions for various words and what happens when family members come across your various sex toys. Engagement on the highest rated posts is pretty decent – some can get over 200 comments without breaking a sweat. It would appear that dumpster responses are also removed, as sorting by controversial didn’t yield anything that was unsavory or particularly strange. Do note that BDSM Community rarely has anything posted that you’d want to jerk off over – despite being about a sexual topic, it’s incredibly non-sexual.
My final thoughts on BDSMCommunity
Reddit doesn’t really have too many places to talk about sex and that type of thing – I think that BDSM Community is a good location if you’re into the kinky side of things. There are lots of followers here and they all seem to be quite keen on engaging in healthy, long-term BDSM. I’m not going to say you should visit here if you’re just looking for a squeeze though: you’ll be disappointed! So for folks that want to talk shop on bondage, domination and whatever else – BDSM Community is for you. Just want to find something to jack off over?
