Booty Calls – what the hell is this?

When landing on the teaser page for Booty Calls, you’re promised a casual dating sim that has you assisting a mermaid princess that wants to have sex with the sexiest girls around down at the local beach. The preview trailer looks quite good and honestly, the graphics are fantastic: but what about the gameplay? It’s all well and good judging a book by its cover but from time to time, you need to play a title before really understanding whether or not it’s a good one to dedicate your time toward. The good news for you is that Mr. Porn Geek is about to spend a few hours playing Booty Calls so you can read my review and decide whether or not it’s for you. So then, let’s begin!

Getting this puppy set up

After smashing the ‘play now’ button, you’ll be prompted to sign up or log in via Facebook. Now I know that you’re worried about people finding out that you’re playing games and that you might get a high score or something pasted to your profile, but I double-checked the feature and was pleased to see that it only takes your email address and it doesn’t request permission to post to your page (meaning it can’t, even if it really wanted to). Once you’re logged in, simply hit ‘play now’ again and the game will load: it’s that simple! You’ve got to love browser-based games because let’s be real, no one wants to download something like this to their local machine – even if it is totally legit.

I should note that personally, I had issues with loading up Booty Calls on Chrome: Opera worked just fine and so did Firefox, so I’m not too sure what’s going on there, but it really sucks! I had the exact same issue with Narcos XXX though, so it might just be the case that I have a problem with my browser or something. Anyway, once finally inside, I was pretty happy with the initial experience offered by Booty Calls: it offers support for English, German, French and Spanish as well so if you speak at least one of those languages, you’re golden. My only complaint is the usage of an American flag to denote the English language … it’s called English for a reason, game designer: it’s from England, which has its own flag!

BootyCalls  Gameplay 

You’ll start in Booty Calls by talking to Andriella on a moody beach at dusk: she’s a busty anime girl with huge tits who wants to know what you’re up to. Turns out you actually caught this sexy minx masturbating and now she’s going to have to explain herself to you! What’s quite interesting is that the game’s dialog from NPCs has voiceover: indicative of a healthy production budget! After you continue through the dialog and learn a little about the storyline, you’ll eventually have to make a view dialog choices to decide how you want to respond to Andriella’s request for help. Basically, she needs you to fuck as many girls as you can so that she can collect their pussy juice – a crazy theme no doubt, but play along with it and see where it goes!

As you continue, you’ll be required to talk to Lara in an attempt to woo her over. The game functions as a dating sim as the preview implied, so make the best decisions possible to up your chances of getting laid. There are also skill elements here – they use mini-games as a way to provide a level of interaction to the title. The first one I played was called ‘Date Board’ and essentially, you have to create long chains of colored circles to score points – the more points by the end of the game, the better! You’ll build ‘hearts’ for each girl when winning, as well as unlocking a few useful items that can be used to make your dating life just that little bit easier.

The rest of my Booty Calls experience

I really liked how for each girl, you had to gauge their personality to know how to answer their questions. For instance, Shannon at the beach is a bit of a slut that loves compliments, so you can afford to talk quite dirty with her and get the response you want. Other girls will take a little more caution though – this mix-up keeps it interesting and ensures that you’re following the storyline and what all of the girls happen to like. Answering questions correctly five times in a row gives you the opportunity to ask a question too: this is a great feature that provides positive feedback for not acting like an ass in the wrong situations.

As for the sexy stuff, Booty Calls starts to get interesting as your relationship status increases with each girl. Naturally, being a dating sim allows you to decide which women you’re going to go after. I think that the dating stuff here is actually quite developed: girls send you naughty messages, X-rated selfies and so on. If you want to speed up your progression to the porn stuff you can elect to use cash in order to achieve that end: it’s not expensive but yeah, Booty Calls is your classic freemium-style game. On the whole though, such a great thing to kick back and enjoy: the time gating is a little annoying, but the next section might help you out there.

So alongside this great game, you’re getting access to all of Nutaku and its collection of playable titles. We’re talking dozens of fan favorites here, including ones such as Chick Wars, Pocket Waifu and Dragon Providence.
