Did you know that Facebook Dating is a thing? I know, I know – it seems strange, but they came out with a side project a few years ago and some folks still use it today. When you think about it, Facebook actually had quite the opportunity to go into this avenue of action, and I haven’t gotten around to written about it until today. So, what’s going on here, and is Facebook Dating worth you spending your time on? I’m about to head on inside and see what the deal is!

First thoughts on Facebook Dating

The first thing to notice about this platform is it’s free to use – it’s also not as popular as the rival options on the market. If you already have a Facebook account, it shouldn’t be that much of a big deal for you to try it out and see who’s in your area – and since so many use Facebook anyway, it really does well in certain parts of the world, especially those where things like Tinder and the like aren’t as popular. The design and layout are pretty decent – it’s just the fact that it’s not pushed as heavily as it could be that’s the problem.

Should you use Facebook Dating?

It’s certainly not my favorite pick of the bunch, but I do think that Facebook Dating has some pros that you ought to consider. Getting started is simple, there are very few spammy profiles and they’re keeping everything as simple to use as possible. Oh, and it’s geared more toward dating and relationships, so if you’re interested in bangs and hookups, there might be better options on the market for you.
