What’s funny about this game that I’m going to be reviewing today is that it’s basically my life right now! As you well know, the person out there with the most amount of clout when it comes to the adult entertainment business is your boy, Mr. Porn Geek. Porn Empire is the title of the game I’m set to look at as well, so if you want to know more about this great title, continue reading and I’ll give you the full story. Do note that this is going to be my first play through of Porn Empire – I’ve read good things from a friend of mine, but I want to do the full analysis myself before I give it the all-clear. First thoughts on Porn Empire

So when the game loads up for the first time, you’ll see a pretty huge splash screen that displays a hell of a lot of options for you. Oh and before I forget, I do just want to let you know that Mr. Porn Geek will be playing version 0.76 of this game – I’ll be sure to link you with the latest patch as and when it becomes available. If we look on the left-hand side of the splash screen, you’ll find the ability to start a new game, continue an old save, look at the quick guide and fiddle around with some options. Let’s go into the options menu first – I want to get a good idea of just how developed Porn Empire is and the control that you have over it.

Alongside the individual volume controls for the music and sound effects, you’ve also got the ability to turn on full-screen and disable screen shake. What I like about the settings inside Porn Empire is the fact that you can control the volume of each source individually, so if you’d like the music to be turned down way low, you can do exactly that! I also decided to have a cheeky gander at the quick guide: this is quite lengthy and will explain what all of the attributes do and how to navigate around the game itself. I can tell you already that Porn Empire isn’t a 2-minute wonder (like me in the bedroom). This is far more developed and a higher quality release – something Mr. Porn Geek is very fond of.

Playing Porn Empire

So after hitting the ‘new game’ button, you’ll be taken through to a character selection screen that allows you to define exactly who you are and what’s associated with you. This is really quite cool, since you can lick your name, date of birth, country of origin and lots of different things to do with your appearance. Hell, Porn Empire has 6 different types of beards you can select from, as well as a bunch of different colors to make it look absolutely smashing! By default, the game decides that you’re in Andorra – that’s a tiny European country that basically no one lives in, so yeah: chances are you’re going to want to change that unless you’re obsessed with the idea if being from there.

When your character is properly set up in Porn Empire, go ahead and select your perks. What’s quite cool is that every bonus provides a negative as well – this is a great way of letting you control how future games go, so if you want to replay, you can fiddle with the options and have a completely new experience. After you’ve set those up, go to the preferences tab and select what you want to deal with. I decided to maximize the occurrences of ebony and Asian girls, teens and alt chicks – my perfect combinations! On the right-hand side, you’ve also got preferences, which control what some girls are willing to do in front of the camera. Finally, go to the options tab and you can set whether you’ve got tutorials, cheat mode and other stuff: it’s fun!

The gameplay in Porn Empire

Mr. Porn Geek ended up playing Porn Empire for around 45 minutes – I could have gone on for longer, but I realized that I was supposed to be reviewing this game instead of having fun with it! I actually think that Porn Empire is one of the greatest adult games I’ve come across in recent months and can tell that the developer has put a lot of time and effort into making sure it’s a decent release. Sure, it isn’t fully fleshed out yet and there are a few missing things here and there, but on the whole, I can say that Porn Empire left little to be desired.

It’s worth stressing that Porn Empire isn’t the type of game that you can just play in a minute and see some sexy animated goodness. This is a longer-term project that will pay dividends if you decide to stick around – something Mr. Porn Geek is very fond of. I’d say that you should at least set aside 30 minutes to an hour if you want to play Porn Empire, but do note that you’ll be able to save it and come back whenever you want if you want to get deeper into the release. That’s one of the great things here – you don’t have to start from scratch after you’ve busted your first nut!

So when all is said and done – how does Mr. Porn Geek rate Porn Empire? It’s honestly one of the top ten games I’ve played this year and that’s saying something! The graphics are decent, but the gameplay and mechanics are where this title really shines. Sure, it has adult elements, but as a management game it’s so damn enjoyable to build up your empire from nothing. We all want to be mega famous in the smut industry, right?
