It goes by the name of Seductive RPG and I’ve heard a hell of a lot about this without actually playing it myself. Some people tell me it’s the best game ever, whereas others are a little more reserved and say that it’s just okay. What’s the reality here when it comes to Seductive RPG? First impressions of Seductive RPG

What I want to do right from the get go here is mention the fact that when you load this game up, it’ll have auto-playing music that you’re unable to mute. The splash screen just features three cute anime girls and the ability to hit ‘play’ – that’s it! From what I can work out, there aren’t actually any options or settings here – it just loads up and that’s it. Slightly disappointing, but from what I’ve heard, Seductive RPG is a pretty dated project, so it likely didn’t have all of the bells and whistles available to it that modern AAA titles enjoy. Anyhow, you can just go ahead and mute it if you want – that’s what I did! Now let’s actually jump into some gameplay so I can tell you whether or not Seductive RPG is any good.

Seductive RPG: first gameplay elements

So when the game loads up, you’ll basically see that it’s a classic dating simulation title. Unlike most of the competition out there though, you won’t find a single piece of introductory content here: the plot and whatever else are nowhere to be seen! At the very top of the page panel, you’ll see that there are 6 key locations that contain various pieces of information. The first is the amount of money you have – Seductive RPG gives you $10 to start everything and yeah, that’s not a bad figure if you ask me (more cash than I’ve got!), especially when picking up chicks is all about confidence and charm (as opposed to how fat your wallet is). Next to that, you’ll see the current day which is out of a total of 120 – that’s when you’ll actually have to finish Seductive RPG by! The box then has a ‘health’ counter out of 5, an energy rating, a book rating and finally, the ability to look at your inventory. Mine was completely empty at the start but that’s okay: it’ll be full of used panties and sex toys in no time at all!

Seductive RPG – making a decision

You’ll notice further down in the game window that you’ve got the ability to pick from 5 different options, including things like going to work out, visiting the library and visiting the hospital. Since I’m a guy that likes to get nice and ripped, hitting up the ring was my first option. I got 1 strength (which is the ‘energy rating’ I mentioned earlier) as well as a nighttime transition that gave me additional options, such as visiting a gift shop or going to a night club. Since I’m a bit of a nerd, I went ahead and decided to wait until the next day – I want to make sure that when it comes time to go out, I’m real ready for it!

You’ll soon realize that you can balance out all of your attributes by hitting up the gym, working and visiting the library. You can also go to the doctor if you want – I just got told that I’m completely healthy, which is good to know, but it took up a whole day for me to get that information! At the gift shop, you’ll notice that you have the ability to buy a sunflower, some music, earrings and other stuff. I don’t quite know what place is selling sunflowers for $100 next to identically valued CDs, but yeah – good luck making a long-term business with those prices.

Talking to the librarian

Eventually, I got talking to some of the girls at the library – turns out she runs the whole show! You’ve got the option of various chat lines here, including ones that a little bit more aggressive and erotic than the others. I decided to go for ‘Hello, Miss!’ on my first contact because I figured ‘Hey, sexy lady!’ and ‘Sup, bitch’ were a little too on the nose. The next line was a little bugged for me and didn’t show what she said, but I could figure it out from the reply options: I told her my name was John Harman and then she said I was wrong about the library being good before insulting my IQ. Uh – yeah, thanks a lot for that one, sweetie!

My conclusion on Seductive RPG

So what’s my final verdict on the whole Seductive RPG situation? I had a good time here – this game is good and while it can be a little weird at times with the odd navigation tools, you’ve got something to work toward and a clearly defined way to do it. I think that the content could be a little more expansive with many more options – especially in how you budget your time – but it’s obvious to me that Seductive RPG is quite an old adult game. It’s built on Flash and for a lot of people, that might be a deal breaker. Still though, if you’re looking to have a good time with a standard dating simulation game, I think that Seductive RPG could be the one! Check it out yourself and tell me what you think.
