See, your boy hasn’t actually played Summer’s Birthday just yet, but he plans to for the purposes of letting you know whether or not this is a great title that he can recommend you check out. First impressions of Summer’s Birthday

Before I get into the nitty gritty here, I do just want to state for the record that Mr. Porn Geek will be playing Version 0.6 of Summer’s Birthday. New editions may be released in the future, but I’ll be sure to update my links as and when it’s required. Rest assured that whenever you click that button to take you through to Summer’s Birthday, you’ll have the option to play the very latest patch! Just one of the steps Mr. Porn Geek takes to ensure that you’re getting access to the best adult entertainment games around. Anyone who says I’m sleeping on the industry clearly hasn’t read one of my high quality reviews. Okay – with that said, let’s talk about the actual title in question here.

When you load up Summer’s Birthday for the first time, you’ll be presented with just two buttons that you can press: start and change log. I guess if you’re jumping from update to update on a regular basis the patch notes are pretty useful to take a look at, but owing to the fact this is my first play through, Mr. Porn Geek will just go ahead and start a new game. I was a little disappointed to see that you have no save feature, but there’s always the possibility that it wouldn’t make sense. I mean – I don’t even know what this game is about yet! Which is what’s making me so excited to actually play it. Okay, enough babbling, let’s take this puppy for a test drive.

Playing Summer’s Birthday

Once you hit the start button, you’ll be presented with a small transition screen that basically tells you what the game is and how to support the original developer. It would appear that Version 0.6 was released back in November of 2018, so since this game is pretty new, I’m expecting great things from it. Once you’re done reading, hit the ‘next’ button in the bottom right-hand corner and the action will start straight away! I can tell you why this game doesn’t have a save feature: it’s a sex simulation title where your job is to fuck Summer from the Rick and Morty TV show. I found it quite funny how this is being done for Summer’s alleged 18th birthday – all in the front porch area with the garage door open for lighting. You’re also straight into the sex, by the way – there’s no foreplay here needed!

Right at the top of the screen, you’ve got 3 option bars that you can click on to optimize the game to your liking. These are broken down into system options, character options and sound options. I’ll start with the system options first – this allows you to change the quality of Summer’s Birthday if your game is lagging a little and also offers the ability to turn on shading. I found it slightly weird that it’s off by default – I have a 970 which should be able to handle a title like this, right? Flicking it on didn’t really change the polish of the game all that much, but I suppose it’s better than nothing. Anyhow, character options is the next settings box I opened and in here, you’re able to play with a bunch of different sliders and gadgets: I’ll break it down in the next paragraph.

The first thing you can edit is the breast size, which by range from ‘small’ through to ‘rickdiculous’ – sigh. You can also fiddle with the state of the nipples, what style of vagina Summer has and even the clothing that she’s barely wearing. There are a few fetish options too, if you want to turn Summer into a Futa or have her be a little pregnant – I guess the person behind this game really did want to give you all of the freedom in the world!

The dumb side of Summer’s Birthday

Oh man, this game is absolutely ridiculous. Not only can you fuck Summer with pretty much any character from the show, but I was even able to find that it’s possible for her to get slammed in her pussy by Pickle Rick. Can you believe that? It sounds stupid, but yeah – that’s the situation we find ourselves in. Homeboy really goes to town on that pussy too, which I guess is exactly what we want from a Rick and Morty parody porn game. You might also want to switch the backgrounds to various spots, such as a platform which is used to please the Cromulons with the fucking entertainment. It’s weird man – this guy clearly loves Rick and Morty, I just don’t quite get why he made a porn game out of it!

My conclusion on Summer’s Birthday

So what are my final thoughts here? I had a decent time in the game, although I think it’s better to think of Summer’s Birthday as being more of a sex simulation tool. There are lots of options and the overall quality is something I’ve yet to see being done better. Mr. Porn Geek does recommend that you take a look at Summer’s Birthday if you’re a Rick and Morty fan – just get ready to laugh while you jerk off, because this title can get pretty funny pretty quickly.
