What is the site HotGoo?

HotGoo is a site that combines gay and straight porn right on the homepage. This is a site of the future in this regard. Nowadays, there is no need for porn to be split into categories and separated by gay and straight tags. Who gives a shit if you get a quick glance of a dude with a dick in his mouth when that video is surrounded by sexy chicks doing the same damn thing? If you don’t like being reminded that there are different people in the world to you, then perhaps HotGoo won’t be up your street. However, if you are comfortable with your sexuality and not a cunt, HotGoo is a great place to find some porn.

Or is it? Is HotGoo a good site? Well, it certainly ain’t the perfect site that I have been trying to find throughout my years as a site reviewer, but it might just be acceptable. I guess the only bloody way to find that shit out is to get on with this site review though isn’t it dear reader. So let’s get on with this ball sack of a review, shall we?

The design of HotGoo

I have to start the review of HotGoo off on a slightly sour note. The design of this site is nothing short of underwhelming at best and shit at the worst. The styling of this site feels really bloody old and this trend continues into the porn video thumbnails. There is a basic styling on this porn site, which is fine in some cases, but in this case, this basic design is damn crunchy. It just doesn’t make this site feel like a nice place to spend your wanking time which is a damn shame!

Also, the backend of this site is pretty damn slow too. It takes a good few seconds for a page of porn to load. Curiously, when you click on a porn video to watch it, you are met with the same few seconds of loading time for the page, but the porn video itself loads pretty much straight away and plays really nicely even if you are skipping through the boring bits. So, I dunno what the bloody hell is going on with the backend of this site, but it would seem that HotGoo has focused more on the porn videos working quickly than the site loading pages quickly. It would be nice if HotGoo did both, though, as, at times, this site is painfully slow.

The porn on HotGoo

Right, as I said, HotGoo combines straight and gay porn right on the homepage of this site. This site just tells you about all the latest porn it has on the site and doesn’t filter out any content for the weaker-minded of their audience. I really like this, this is my favourite part of this whole site. Personally, I don’t think that a site needs to filter out and block content from viewers any more. Porn is porn, we all know that gay porn is a thing, why fucking hide it from view? HotGoo has created a site where everyone can cum and feel welcome cumming, which is excellent.

The only issue I have with HotGoo in regards to their porn is that most of it is really damn short. Most of the porn on this site is under 10 minutes long, most meet the seemingly popular 8-minute mark that other porn sites like to use as a marker for the length of time a porn video should last. There are a small handful of porn videos on HotGoo that are full-length scenes, but these are rare, and I doubt you’ll come across these every day of the week.

Additional features for HotGoo to consider

The first feature I’d like to discuss HotGoo adding is longer porn videos. I am looking at 12 videos right now on the second page of this site, and all of them are under 8 minutes long. This is pretty shit, to be honest. I would love HotGoo to add longer porn videos that aren’t edited so badly as their site really needs this.

I would also like HotGoo to consider redoing their site’s design. The backend of this site is slow as all hell, perhaps because the design hasn’t had a redo in several years and now this site cannot keep up with the HD porn offerings coming from porn companies. I think that HotGoo needs a fresh design. This, of course, would sort out the shitty styling of this site and mean that the whole site is a lot faster. This site certainly ain’t useable, but it is pretty frustrating.

The Geek’s final thoughts on HotGoo

HotGoo isn’t a terrible site, it is just a very mediocre site. I don’t want to shit all over HotGoo, but it needs to do a fucking lot of work to get this porn site to a place where it will be enjoyable. There are thousands of pages of porn on this site, but most of the porn videos have under 200 views apiece. This is not good for a site that has clearly been around for some time. I think that HotGoo is suffering because of its design issues and its obsession with short porn videos. If HotGoo changed this shit up a bit, they would get more viewers, I am sure.

So, HotGoo isn’t a terrible site, but it is a site down on its luck. I almost feel sorry for this site. It ain’t easy keeping up with this porn technology shit, and I think that HotGoo may have been kicked to the curb. I hope that this site can improve some shit, but only time will tell.
