Do you like comics? If so, I think that it’s relevant to your interests to take a look at the review I’ve got for you here today. I’m hitting up a destination known as ILikeComix, which claims to be one of the best spots around for porn cartoons and the like. Now I’ve not ventured to this destination before, but I’m keen to check it out for the very first time and then give you my thoughts and feelings on it. First thoughts on I Like Comix

When you land on the homepage of ILikeComix, you’ll be shown 4 recent thumbnail images of uploads and then a small collection of series that you might be interested in looking at. These series are what I’d describe as being the most popular, featuring the likes of MILF TOON and Jab Comix. To be honest with you, I feel as if the homepage is a little too skinny in terms of tools, navigation options and flavor. When I visit a spot like this, I expect it to go ahead and give me plenty to look at and click on – just 5% or so of the screen space here is occupied by smut, so that makes it hard for me to get in the mood. I think it makes a lot of sense to go ahead and expand the homepage section so dudes like me are more likely to click around.

One cool thing on the homepage is an instant display of the ‘tags’ that the site has to offer. These are what I’d describe as being categories, but yeah: there’s not too much difference between the two concepts. Such niches you might want to click on straight from the homepage include MILF, anal, blowjob and lesbian. Pretty much all bases are covered at ILikeComix, so regardless of what your particular interest is, they’re going to offer you some XXX cartoons that you can masturbate your ding dong to.

ILikeComix: more comics

If you click the ‘all comics’ button right in the middle of the homepage, you’ll come across what I’d consider to be a standardized design for a place like this. It basically shows the latest smutty cartoon series that have been added to the database and man: do they get a lot of content in on a daily basis. I estimate that every 24 hours, around 20 to 30 new releases are made available to folks visiting ILikeComix: that’s a decent chunk to say the very least. They’re listed chronologically and you have a pagination bar at the bottom of the site to go back in time if you want to search deeper into the ILikeComix archive. They also have a convenient ‘end’ option so you can see the first releases on the platform, which occurred in May of 2014. That’s around 900 pages deep too, so suffice to say that there are thousands of uploads here that your cock will likely be more than happy to sift through.

Preview panes at ILikeComix include a title (with an appended series/artist name), preview image, upload date and category/tag area. ILikeComix makes a distinction between 3D work and standard porn comics, but I don’t think it makes all that much sense. Especially considering that they don’t have a special section for hentai-style content from the looks of things. Maybe Mr. Porn Geek doesn’t understand the sexual comic marketplace that well, but yeah – just some things that I noticed while going about my business on ILikeComix and seeing whether or not I’d consider it a good port of call for horny jerkers that frequently read reviews here on my website.

Access to ILikeComix material

After you’ve decided on a comic that you want to enjoy, click on it to load up a preview image rendering of every single page it has. These are pretty small by default, but you can click on any of them to bring up a lightbox that then has convenient left and right arrow navigation. You can use your keyboard or mouse for this, but they haven’t got A and D button availability for epic gamers like me that are used to flicking through stuff. This won’t matter much for left-handed folk, but if you’re jerking orthodox, a slight keyboard readjustment might be required. There are no slideshow options here for auto playing, so manual navigation is what you’ll have to work with. Too bad!

It also appears that ILikeComix doesn’t have any ability for you to download stuff locally: this puts it behind the competition a little bit. Since comics are generally quite small, I don’t think there’s a bandwidth argument here, so why not just allow horny fellas to grab material in bulk with a zipped photo set? Most of the other porn cartoon destinations do this, so why can’t your hub? I suppose you can at least right-click on any image and save it that way, but that’s hardly convenient. ILikeComix could certainly bump itself up quite a bit on my review listing if they added this functionality.

ILikeComix: the conclusion

Mr. Porn Geek has seen all that needs to be seen on ILikeComix and overall, he’s happy with what this destination has to offer. Going forward, I think that ILikeComix has a lot to work on and I’ve mentioned most of what I’d like to see changed in the body of my review. The website is good and it has a lot going for it, but a few issues here and there could really send this thing to the next level. Anyway – that’s it from me.
