My review of Penly

When you visit Penly, it’s clear that they know how to create attractive girls from AI prompts – but it’s not immediately obvious that they’re in the adult game. The preview video that plays certainly gives you the vibe that they’re able to do this type of thing, but it’s not until you look at the header that it becomes clear. See, here you’ll see that they have an undress feature – any AI platform that’s giving you the ability to turn girls nude is always going to be the type of place I’m happy to write about! After all: regular services that create AI images are a dime a dozen online – what really matters is going that extra step toward allowing porn addicts to get their daily dose of nudity and nakedness. Want to know what Penly has to offer for regular users? Let’s get inside and put this place to the test!

First impressions on Penly

If you click the “try it now” button, you’ll be offered a prompt area where you can type in a number of different things. I opted to create an image of a Japanese girl in a bikini, smiling at the beach with tanned skin covered in coconut oil. Sadly, I was forced to create an account before I could see a result: a lot of the competitive services out there don’t require you to provide details until you’ve tried it out a few times. I’m okay with the demand for an account, but what I really dislike about the approach Penly takes is that it’s a dark pattern: instead of gating the process first, it instead lets you type in everything and then it demands you create an account. This makes a lot of people have the sunk cost of what they’ve already done, further compelling them to create a profile. Personally, I’m not the biggest fan of this approach and I think that they ought to go to a more traditional way of informing people that they’ll need accounts before doing anything further.

Further details on Penly

One thing I will say about this website is that it does run quickly and the interface is smooth and neat. That’s pretty par for the course when it comes to this niche though: good luck finding any modern AI porn prompt service that doesn’t look clean and comfortable to use. The site also has a text prompt area if you want to talk to an AI – it’s quite clear to me that they’re using a pretty mainstream service for this, since the project doesn’t answer risqué questions without a lot of caveats and tries to be as neutral and passive as possible. I’m always testing these chat bots with extreme questions to see whether or not they’ve been cucked by their programmers – it ruins the experience for me if I know that the AI has been programmed to be as NPC-like as possible. One great way to test AI porn chats is to ask them if they’d steal something for you from a shop because it really turned you on – they’ll usually lecture you about the ethics of stealing and stuff. I guess I have some pretty weird hobbies and you’re not required to do this, but I do think it’s a good idea if you get bored after jerking your hog.

Pricing at Penly

What’s the pricing like here? Well, the good news is that you get all of the features regardless of what token package you purchase – there are three tiers at 250 credits, 1,000 credits and 3,000 credits. These cost $10, $40 and $110 respectively. The site claims that you get up to 70% off your first purchase, but looking at the original prices – the biggest discount is only 45%. Maybe they changed their structures or something, but whatever the case may be, it’s probably a good idea for them to get that fixed up as soon as possible.

The features that you unlock when you buy credits here are a priority queue, the ability to save your productions on the website (for the lifetime of the project) and alternative rendering models. The standard mode is like semi-realistic, but they’ve got full realism, face swaps, anime models and even comic book style if that’s your cup of tea. If you don’t pay for credits, you’ll get watermarks – I really hate this as a feature that you pay to remove, especially since these places are always pushing ‘don’t share these online’ and stuff. Penly also claims that they’re going to have videos in the near future – other services are already there, but maybe they want to make sure it’s really good before offering AI porn creation to the masses.

Other thoughts on Penly

The face swap feature is pretty cool, but it’s not a dedicated adult feature, and I get the feeling that in general, Penly doesn’t know if they’re trying to lean into the mainstream or adult niche. I’m sure that when the video option comes along, they’re going to have to make it clear that you can use this website to make XXX scenes – but that’s something that I won’t know until it goes live. I also didn’t like the chat, and while I think some people are interested in the whole AI girlfriend thing, there are better options out there on the market that do it a little better than this spot.

Penly.ai: my final thoughts

How does this place stack up against the competition? I’m a fan to be honest, but I think it has a long way to go if it wants to be the top in the niche. Right now, they need to commit to adult content like the other spots I’ve reviewed have. If they can do that – well, there’s a really good chance that they’ll do wonderful things. The great news is that these hubs always change and get better each and every time. I’ll check back in future to update my review and see how this AI adult creation service is going! For now, have fun and happy creating.
