Porn forums have usually always been a popular way to share and enjoy porn with other people – today, I’m going to be looking at PornBB and what it has to bring to the table for people hunting down the latest and greatest in adult forum entertainment. Characterized by its pink-washed color scheme, this site has been around for roughly a dozen years and is showing no signs of stopping. I actually used PornBB myself way back in the day – it’s going to be fun exploring just how much the site’s changed and what’s new and improved for users of the site. So, without further ado, let’s get down and dirty with a full, complete Mr. Porn Geek review of PornBB.

First Impressions on PornBB

Let’s kick off with what I consider to be the most important thing for any porn forum: how busy are you? Well, at the time of writing this review, PornBB had a total of 3,200 users online and a total archive of just over 6.4 million topics. That’s a huge number to say the very least, and something I think reflects the fact that it’s a tried and tested porn board that anyone’s free to sign up and contribute to. The site itself loads pretty quickly and there are aren’t too many adverts to contend with – just a few non-intrusive banners at the top and bottom of each page.

FetishBB – Bondage, BDSM, foot worship and watersports go into this section. If it’s a bit weird and alternative, FetishBB is the way to go.

HentaiBB – Anime geeks and freaks are invited to join HentaiBB, the go-to place for Japanese artwork, subbed porn videos and dubbed tentacle clips.

GayBB – Prefer your women to be men? Not a problem – GayBB is devoted to videos and pictures of twinks, bears, muscly studs and everything in between. No girls allowed!

I quite like the fact that there are these three additional sections: sometimes it’s hard to maintain a forum because there are so many people with different interests and you eventually end up with dozens of boards that 90% of people aren’t interested in. PornBB fixes this with its 4 different bulletins spread across popular interests, so great job there – I really like this feature over what other adult forums choose to do. They’ve even got their own color scheme, so if you’re not keen on the pink of PornBB you don’t have to worry, it’ll go away in no time at all!

The Boards

There are 6 banded categories on PornBhasach of which have their own sub-boards. For instance, Adult Movies is a category that contains boards such as JAV Videos and Movies and Webcam Girls – content is broken down into different groups to ensure similarly-themed entertainment is banded together for your convenience. The other forums are Model Pictures and Videos, Adult Images, Other XXX, Porn Discussion and finally, Community. I think it’s worth mentioning that not all of these boards are created equally, and different destinations get a different level of interaction from the community. It’s probably best to put some numbers to what I’m talking about, so let me do exactly that!

Right now, the forum with the highest number of posts on PornBB is XXX Video Mega Threads – this is crammed with niche topics such as deepthroat fucking and German whores. This forum contains over 10,000 threads and hosts well over 10 million posts – this is probably going to be the place you’ll spend most of your time if you’re looking to download vanilla porn clips! On the flip side, you’ve got boards like Celebrity Pictures which only have around 100,000 posts in them. Don’t get me wrong, this is a decent number and if you want to see the latest exploits of Hollywood A-list babes like Miley Cyrus and Emma Watson nude then you’re going to get exactly that, but it’s important to know what most people are on PornBB for, and that’s standard hardcore pornography across a range of normal niches including blowjobs, teens, anal sex and lesbians.

What’s quite interesting is the fact that unlike many other forums, a bulk of the submissions here are made by a few power users that contribute more so than your average surfer. For instance, there’s a dude by the name of NickLezob with 190,000 posts and another called grinder261 with 420,000! These guys are posting porn all day, every day and have done so for multiple years. I’ve got a lot of respect for anyone who commits themselves to a task that only benefits others, so a big shout out to the elite few on PornBB that never stop posting – you’ll always have a place in my heart. Bringing porn to the masses is a selfless act, and whoever these men are go above and beyond to make sure you’ll never be without stellar adult entertainment again.

The Hosting Situation

Okay, so let me talk to you a little about how porn forums work: instead of hosting content locally, most sites get their users to house the clips on third-party platforms, such as File Joker, Hit File, Keep2Share and RapidGator. Videos can then be downloaded via these services directly to your PC and can be downloaded completely free of charge, although you’re typically limited in the amount you can grab before requiring an account. Lots of file hosting services have this system in place and don’t cost too much to sign up to, but it should be noted that PornBB doesn’t specify a single hosting provider to utilize – it lets the people submitting content do that.

I should state for the record that in many cases, submissions on PornBB are likely not authorized by the creators of the original content. Mr. Porn Geek isn’t here to judge people on whether or not they should use file hosting services to grab what is, in many cases, pay-for content. I do actually see some merits to this even if you’re paying for access to the original website: some paysites don’t make it easy for you to download content, and I think that should never be the case. Alas, I’m sure most of you pirating are not just doing it for the purposes of backup, but probably never paid for the material in the first place. Might I suggest that you consider looking at my discount deals for various porn sites if that’s the case? You may find one or two places that are worth signing up for at a rock-bottom price.

Note that you’ll find this exact same method of downloading content available on pretty much every post that’s hosted on PornBB – it’s far too expensive to provide videos for free because bandwidth isn’t costless, so they have to offload that to third-parties that specialize in monetizing storage space. This even applies to the various image collections on PornBB, including photographs of amateurs having fun together. I should point out that this is not exclusive to this board though, since pretty much every adult forum out there is doing the exact same thing.

Extras And Features

There aren’t too many additional offerings provided by the PornBB forums, although one thing I do enjoy is their pornstar identification board. Seen a girl but can’t find out her name? Able to describe a broad with words but can’t find them in any uploads? Not to worry, because the people here are able to help. Submit an image or a description and chances are that within 24 hours, you’ll have the name of any pornstar you could find online. One of the great things about people who are obsessed with a certain topic is that they’re insanely knowledgeable – if you’re someone making hundreds of posts on a porn forum then it’s likely that you know one or two pornstars!

There’s also an off-topic forum at PornBB where people talk about how much porn they’ve got stored on their hard drive, what their dick size is and how people keep themselves safe online from viruses and malware. This section isn’t that active, but there have been a few dozen posts in the last 24 hours, so it’s not like it’s dead either. You can even join in the party if you want – it’s not hard!

Final Thoughts On PornBB

Signing up to PornBB requires just a username, email address and password – once you’ve confirmed who you are by clicking a link from the message they send you, you’re in and able to contribute. Honestly, there’s not much of a catch with using PornBB, other than the fact that you’ll probably have to buy a file hosting subscription at some point if you want to download a decent amount of porn.
