Mr. Porn Geek reviews Pussymon

Pussymon is a game that was originally published and shared on Newgrounds: this isn’t an easy release to get any more, but there are still places on the Internet that will allow you to get access to the title. The project itself is rather popular – it has had millions of players and the structure of the porn game makes it a regular piece of content that is released every month (generally, sometimes periods are greater than this). Anyway, Mr. Porn Geek is going to devote the rest of this review to talking about Pussymon and what you might find when playing it. Let’s get down to business and see what it’s all about, shall we? I hope you’re excited, because this is yet another top-tier review from your boy Mr. Porn Geek!

First notes on Pussymon

The first thing I want to talk about here is the fact that Pussymon is completely fragmented in its content approach. From what I understand, there are dozens of episodes that you can check out, ranging from 1 to 40, with more on the way. Yes – that means that any archive you come across will have to provide you with access to all of the episodes if you really want to feel like you’re enjoying Pussymon. I don’t have a major issue with this type of thing, but I do think that the developer could’ve turned around after 20 releases and though to themselves “hey, maybe it’s a good idea that I just combine all of the content now and create a fully-fledged game?”. Rant over: let’s play episode 2 first and then try a few random ones out to see what Pussymon has to offer.

Playing Pussymon Episode 2

I was pretty impressed with how quickly the game loaded for me: it took just 5 seconds from wanting to play it until I was actually able to dive straight into the action. Do note that the original Pussymon releases were done via Flash, so if the link I’ve provided is browser-based, you’re going to need one that has that enabled. I do recommend that before you go jumping into the action without a plan, you quickly read through the ‘how to play’ section. This will cover things like saving the game, how to earn money, what you can spend your cash on, how to unlock new abilities and that type of thing. If the name wasn’t enough of a giveaway, Pussymon is focused around a style of game similar to the Pokemon series: you’ve got to hunt and tame all 300+ creatures in order to win. Like I said: this is spread across multiple episodes, so it’s something of a marathon if you ask me – you won’t be finishing Pussymon any time soon!

The first action in Pussymon

When you eventually hit the play now button, you’ll be given the setting for this release: you’ve helped the Dragon Queen and she’s asked you to represent her interests in a tournament. She’s got a buddy called Lara that you need to find and once that’s done, you ought to go ahead and try to convince her that you’re strong enough to be a champion. Now anyone who’s played the original Pokemon Blue/Red editions will immediately get the aesthetic of this game: it looks fantastic. You have multiple options on this first screen of buildings you can enter, but I decided instead to head down south (not figuratively) because I’m a dirty pervert that wants some pussy. The Dragon Queen was in the pyramid and she looked strangely like a character from the Game of Thrones franchise – interesting. I went back up and then right instead: Lara needed to be found immediately, if not sooner.

I soon came across a wild Pussymon and immediately had to engage in combat. When you start this game, you’ll only have a fist to utilize as a weapon: this hit the enemy for 10 HP and she had 100, so it took quite a while to grind that slut down. You can click on some of the plants if you want to initiate more battles, but just be careful and watch your health: you don’t want to get sent back to the start now! I eventually found Lara and she told me that in order to compete, I’d have to bring her 8 Pussymons with a level of 100: seems like a pretty daunting task, but I’m not known for giving up without a fight.

Pussymon: a retrospective analysis

I ended up playing all of episode 2 and then tried out a few random ones, including 12, 24 and 27. I really quite enjoyed the entire vibe of this game, although the later releases did feel a hell of a lot better. Pussymon’s greatest ‘weakness’ from my perspective is that it isn’t an easy game that you can just click through without thinking. There are titles like Daughter for Dessert that will do all of the work for you, but Pussymon is something different entirely. This isn’t a simple release: it’s also one of the most freedom-focused porn games that I can think of. You’re given so many choices and it’s up to you how you want to approach various tasks. Note that you can cheat if you want, but I don’t think you should: you’re only cheating yourself, after all. In terms of the smut – it’s fun, but you won’t be getting that instant jerking experience some other titles provide.

Final thoughts on Pussymon

It’s by no accident that this game has had so many releases over the years: Pussymon really does a fantastic job of giving you a tough game that isn’t going to serve you the goodies you want without a bit of a challenge. People get frustrated at this game because it isn’t easy, so a few ratings I’ve seen on platforms aren’t all that accurate, since it’s just losers who wanted to get their hog squeezing on and didn’t care about anything else. All things considered, Mr. Porn Geek really did enjoy the experience here and if giving this his official seal of approval. Thanks for reading and like always – make sure you check back for more great gaming content in future!
