I’d argue that out of all the popular NSFW subreddits, this one has one of the most ambiguous titles that wouldn’t tip you off immediately as to its erotic nature. I mean, it seems reasonable that ‘watch it for the plot’ would just be a movie recommendation system where people want great stories instead of flashy graphics and CGI, right? Turns out that WIFTP (I’m going to shorten it to this for my own sanity from time to time) is all about professional TV shows, movies and associated productions that feature nude, erotic and sexual scenes. Instead of talking about the whole thing, people just go ahead and show you the best bits! You always want to be able to gauge how certain subreddits stack up against one another, so I’ll go ahead here and just look at some of the objective metrics that are worth knowing. First of all, Watch It For The Plot is a relatively new NSFW Reddit, being created in December of 2012. Since the inception of this community, it has managed to earn itself just over 450,000 followers, making it one of the top 50 subreddits for mature purposes that Reddit has to offer. So far so good – but let’s take a look at the content and see what’s going on here if you decide to visit. Sorting submissions based on upload date, we’ll find that this is one of the slower moving places for adult entertainment: around 8 posts every day is about what I’d expect. It’s not awful given the specific nature of the content, but I have no doubt those numbers could be bumped up quite a bit.

What’s going on when you actually go to enjoy the submissions on WIFTP? Well to test this, I figured it was best to look at the top submissions from the last year. Essentially, all posts were links to clips hosted at GFYCat – a MP4 sharing service that specializes in short pieces of content. I saw many actresses here that I’m sure plenty of guys will love watching in action, such as Emilia Clarke (GoT), Aimee Lou Wood, Sydney Sweeney and Aya Wolf. Remember that the content comes from movies and TV shows, so nothing is ‘fake’ or clickbait: just good, solid Hollywood stars getting nude – it’s in the script!

Watch It For The Plot has a slow flow of content, but I can forgive that as like I said, the focus here is quite direct and sticking to something that can be hard to find at times. I had a great time and out of the top NSFW subreddits devoted to celebrity content, this is the one that has the greatest level of polish.
