Mr. Porn Geek: a visit to /r/Redheads

I was originally born in England and lived in Australia for some quite some, so what I think a ‘redhead’ is might differ slightly from others. I’ve never really come to terms with the fact that Americans (and other people around the world) don’t seem to differentiate between people with red hair and straight-up gingers. /r/Redheads is up for review and I’m interested to see what’s going on here and whether or not this fits my idea of what a perfect redhead is. So without further ado, let’s get on over to Redheads and see these hotties in action!

Some stats on Redheads

It’s always good to start off subreddit reviews with stats, so let’s first mention that /r/Redheads was created in November of 2008 and has managed to amass a reasonable 315,000+ followers since its inception. According to my calculations, this puts /r/Redheads into the top 70 NSFW subreddits by a straight-up subscriber analysis. I also want to touch on the rate at which new links come in here – sorting all posts by new, you’ll see that things can get pretty slow on Redheads. Just 25 submissions in the last 72 hours is one of the lowest I’ve seen for a community of this size. It might be the case that the /r/Redheads just isn’t that reasonable when it comes to its rules, but I don’t want to speculate: let’s go look at some content.

I think everyone knows that quality trumps quantity, so I am somewhat interested to see just how good the submissions are on Redheads. It may be the case that if they have double the average quality of a standard subreddit, this could still be a great place to see those beautiful redheaded babes in action! I went ahead and sorted all submissions from the last year based on rating and then started to look through all of the juicy chicks linked. While there were a few clips here, it’s obvious to me that the submissions are largely dominated by straight-up images. This beach selfie of Abigale Mandler (which isn’t even strictly NSFW) was my favorite redhead photograph here, whereas the clip of a cute ginger taking her titties out in front of a webcam was my clip of preference. Do note that /r/Redheads has a policy against videos and penises too – no hardcore content allowed!

The final verdict on Redheads

The initial speculation that rules here were a little too strict probably makes the most sense for why content upload rates are so slow here. If /r/Redhead switched over to allow hardcore material, they might find that people actually post a lot more. I don’t mind this place for lovers of gingers, but as a general subreddit – nothing special I’m afraid.
